Amnesia Haze is a classic sativa-dominant strain from Royal Queen Seeds, developed from old-school Haze genetics that were refined and hybridized in the Netherlands. This legendary cultivar is the result of combining a Haze hybrid with a male derived from original Haze lines, creating one of the most well-known and celebrated Haze strains available today.
This feminized photoperiod variety has a flowering time of approximately 70–80 days and requires some patience compared to faster strains. Indoors, plants typically grow to around 80–140 cm, while outdoor plants can reach heights of 175–210 cm in optimal conditions. It performs best in warm, sunny climates, and outdoor growers in cooler regions may benefit from greenhouse cultivation due to its longer flowering period. Yields are high, with indoor production reaching up to 600–650 g/m² and outdoor plants producing up to 700 g per plant under ideal conditions.
Amnesia Haze produces elongated, resinous buds typical of sativa genetics. While it is a high-yielding strain, it can be somewhat sensitive, requiring attentive care to avoid issues with pests, weather, or nutrient balance.
The flavor profile is bright and complex, featuring citrus, earthy, herbal, and peppery notes. The aroma is fresh and slightly sweet, with classic Haze characteristics that make it instantly recognizable.
The effects are powerful and long-lasting, delivering a strongly cerebral, almost psychedelic high. It provides an intense mental uplift that can feel energizing and immersive, making it popular for creative or introspective experiences. Due to its potency, it is best suited for experienced users or those comfortable with strong sativa effects.
Overall, Amnesia Haze is a cornerstone strain with a long-standing reputation for potency, flavor, and yield. It remains a top choice for growers seeking a classic Haze experience and for users looking for a powerful, mind-focused high.
